I’m 14 and I am struggling with any mental illnesses, GAD, anorexia, depression and the worst is health anxiety. I have a whole range of physical symptoms and I have convinced myself it’s cancer. I have upper back pain, neck pain, shoulder and collar bone pain as well as rib pain (under boob) all on my left side, I have convinced myself it’s cancer and I am beside myself with nerves. I am awake all night with terrible anxiety and I’m scared if I fall asleep I won’t wake up again. I’m tired all the time and I have a lard lymph node behind my right ear which frightened the heck out of me! My body is trembling, shaking and twitching 24/7. It never stops. All my bones have started cracking and crunching which they never did before. I am now scared it has spread to my bones? I have been getting right knee pain for no reason too! I am on sertraline and that’s not helping at all my vision is weird and I’m getting lines and staticky vision and I’m convinced I’m going to be dead by next week. Sorry I know I sound like a maniac but all of these symptoms ar really bad and I am at crisis point.
You’re symptoms do not sound like cancer at all.
They sound like severe anxiety with possible depression.
They are the exact symptoms I had when I was in my twenties.
Anxiety and stress can cause neck, back ,shoulder pain, trembling, visual disturbances, plus numerous other symptoms.
Your anxiety about symptoms can make them worse.
Do you visit a counselor for the anxiety, anorexiA or depression?
Lymph nodes can appear when someone has a virus like a cold, flu, etc. they are quite common and usually go away by themselves.
Have you seen your doctor for a checkup?
You can fall asleep, you will wake up because our bodies automatically function by themselves when we sleep.... Even with anxiety.
See if your parent can get you counseling for your anxiety.
Youre going to be fine once you learn how to manage your anxieties, depression and anorexia . 🌸🌸🌸
This sounds very much like severe anxiety. Have you seen a doctor? What tests have they done? I find it helps reassure me to have blood tests etc done. If you had cancer and it had metastasized to your bones, you would have lost an incredible amount of weight so far and you would be in agonizing pain along with many other symptoms.
See a doctor and have them do some tests to rule out the big and scary stuff - it will ease your mind! I guarantee you that you don’t have cancer!
