Health anxiety

I have suffered with health anxiety for a very long time, if its not cancer it is some serious neurological illness. I was on FB last night when something came up about gum disease been linked to alzeimers. I am now scared to death. I brush my teeth daily and floss regularly but yet my gums still sometimes bleed, I don't know why this happens, I have also had a couple of teeth that have cracked. I don't know whether it is an age thing. I am 50. Unfortunately I have never had great teeth, my mum had to have false teeth in her 20s due to a mouth disease. But now I have read this I am panicking, I am forgetful and I get brain fog,and I'm so frightened. Anybody else suffer from this xx

Hi Lisa,
I am also a long time chronic anxiety sufferer, GAD, Social and Health.
I floss at night and sometimes a gum can bleed a bit it’s nothing to worry about .
Our problem is we live in such a highly sensitised world where every symptom is portrayed online as a sign of something bad and in reality it is often just a sign of the normal aging process (which we are not told about)
I have also had brain fog and poor memory for years. . .
Oh to go back to our 20’s again
Peace :folded_hands:
