Keep an eye on and observe your condition, insist on staying at home, don’t go out. When you are severe, if you have a high fever, please dial 999.
thanks hopefully nothing serious and will get better soon just scared
Bed rest, plenty of fluids and paracetamol.
Monitor your temperature.
Self isolate for 7 days if symptoms get worse dial 111 or call your GP for advise.
Got the above advice from nhs24.com
Having the same symptoms except have a fever that comes and goes. I also suffer with anxiety but I’m staying calm by watching comedies, staying off social media and not watching the news. I also keep reminding myself that I am not in the vulnerable group and if it is coronavirus the survival rate is around 98%.
Hope this helps and your feeling better soon.
Sending hugs 珞

Hi Han
You must not be scared, it is very unlikely to be the COVID19, more likely a cold.
The high temp (above 37.8) would start almost immediately, the tickly/sore throat is not a common symptom of the virus but one that only sometimes appears.
The main symptoms are high fever and a cough.
Plenty of fluids and rest and try not to worry or you will convince yourself you have it!

Same here. My anxiety this week has been through the roof.
Had mild fever in Oman but it was gone 2 weeks ago. The last 2 weeks were full of sleepless nights and I feel so fatigued and anxious. I also cannot get Coronavirus out of my head.
These 4 days or so I’ve been obsessed about my breathing, to the point I’m unconsciously holding my breath and I feel like I’ve lost my usual breathing pattern!
I try to remain optimistic and I encourage the same for you. I’m sure it’ll get better.
exactly we are so focused on and pick up on little things
Also check out the other thread with some real numbers. Even if it is the Coronavirus, 99.7% chance you’ll be just fine.
thanks
thanks hope we both get better soon
I hear you. I live in a South East Asian country and although the numbers are still very low, the health system is a total mess, the economy relies heavily on tourism and the place is full of idiot backpackers and expats with a live for today attitude who continue to go to crowded bars, take no precautions and lead an almost criminally careless lifestyle. Our only saving grace is that due to high temperatures you can still exist out doors, take walks and all but avoid close contact with people. I also have perceived symptoms, I can t sleep, I take my temperature multiple times a day and my anxieties are all out of control. My friends are very dismissive. They think I m an anxious bore when I point out that hedonism is not a good approach at all this time around even if numbers are still low. On the other hand I understand how they feel the need for closeness, solidarity and good times with friends to not flip themselves. We need to try and keep our anxieties under control. I always remind myself that I m strong and fit, eat healthy food, do yoga for my peace of mind and try to make myself stronger. These are trying times. It s survival of the wisest. I wish you and all us worriers out there to be strong and rational. Even if you are sick you ll push through as the vast majority of the population does. In the mean time we can take this “opportunity” to reconsider our priorities, appreciate life and love our tired, anxious selves. We ll push through and become better people. Sending you all good energy.
thanks its scary agree with you hopefully we all get through and things get better
