Heart almost always beating too strong/palpitations?

Hi, quick back story- About a year ago, I started having pain in left side of my chest. It would come and go, but mainly happened at night. I was checked for any heart problems and diagnosed with costochondritis. After that, I started to get infrequent palpitations, not an abnormal rhythm, but just feeling like my heart was beating too hard and a little too fast. More heart monitoring, everything was fine. It started happening every single day. I would notice that sometimes something I ate would cause it, but then it still happened if I skipped eating as well. In June this year I was diagnosed with PCOS and told that it can cause palpitations, but no matter what I do anymore, I have them all. the. time. I have health anxiety from all of this, but I really felt like I had it under control. I don't know what's causing the palpitations and that's the worst part. My doctor offered to put me on beta blockers but I really don't want to rely on meds to control this. I just want it to stop!!! It's distracting and frustrating and scary that it never ends. Anyone ever have this happen or have an idea what to do about it?

Take the beta blockers they’re great and have no side effects at all.
They’re great I take them
