keep in mind : i am slightly anemic and have anxiety so im sure my resting heart rate is like 80-90.. but when i exercise for instance : in my dance class , my heart starts beating extremely fast .. like no space between beats almost .. i got 2 friends to feel my heart and both asked if i was okay and told me my hearts beating way too fast. ive had an EKG or ECG or whatever it is called and my resting heart rate was normal but im worried theres something wrong with my heart due to how fast it goes with little exercise. maybe this is due to being anemic/low iron?
maybe that is the case but your test came out normal. the speed of the goes with the intensity of the exercise and how long you do it for. when i was training in the army my heart rate would shoot up with exercise.
also with little exercise it would go really fast to. does it slow down eventually after you cease inactivity?
yes it goes back to normal in like 10 minutes. i just find it odd because both of my friends hearts dont go nearly as fast as mine
i also must add it does go fast without a lot of exercise too
Hi stephanie
You seem to be very active and athletic. Yes low iron can cause an increase in heart rate. Also I have what the call svt. It can cause high heart rates at times and anxiety stress to much caffiene can increase heart rate also. It’s good that your heart rate goes back down fairly quickly after excerice. Do you know what your resting heart rate is? Also you can try using a fit bit or another monitoring device to see what your physical heart rate is. I see you had ekgs and it was normal. Maybe ask for a stress test so the doctor can see how high your rate goes. Do you feel dizzy or faint when it increases? I hope you find some answers
well i dont drink caffeine and id say my resting heart rate is around high 80’s to anywhere in the 90’s! i do not faint and usually dont experience dizziness but i get dizziness along with my anxiety so it is hard to tell. ive used my boyfriends, moms fit bit before and i think it went up to like 115 or something .. with little activity ! thanks for the comment
