Heart beating out of chest and extreme headache during stressful event.

Hello everyone,

So I'm a 23 years old male with no known heart conditions. The other day I was involved in a near miss car accident when someone pulled out in front of me with no signal, I swerved into the emergency lane to avoid and realized my heart was beating VERY fast and my head suddenly felt like it was going to explode, I was so scared i was going to have a heart attack, I kept driving to my destination where it eventually went away but can anyone tell me what this was???

That’s what you call, in some term, adrenaline rush.

It can happen during a stressful event.

Ya that would be an adrenaline rush. Everyone gets them.
