Hi ladies i just started low dose hormone patch but its increasing my palpitations, does anyone know if this is normal? My estrogen was at zero , if anyone went threw this i would appreciate your input . Thankyou .

I went through this just after Christmas. I had been on HRT tablets called Novofem for 2 months leading up to Christmas when I was experiencing side effects of palpitations, anxiety, hot flushes and panic attacks. My doctor took me off Novofem and prescribed patches which made my symptoms even worse. I tried them for 2 weeks which was all I could tolerate so after speaking to a doctor I just took the patch off. Within 24hours my symptoms had gone and have been feeling better ever since.
