hi all! ive been posting a lot recently,my anxiety is been bad to manage in this days! since yesterday i have a lot of skipping beats during day and night! heart rate is normal BP is ok too! i saw my cardiologist november 2019 for the palpitations he did and ekg and was perfectly normal! in 2018 ive done 3 holter monitor and event monitor, and a heart ct scan with contrast, heart ultrasound etc! because of that doctor dont think i need to repeat any of this tests since im young no health issues and ekg was normal! But im very worried that in 2 years things might have change and my heart will show have a lifethreating episode! im 30 years old normal weight ! i take zoloft 75ml a day! can you have a artial fib from those skipping beats , can you have a cardiac arrest? thank you all
no. Your skip beats are not going to cause atrial fibrillation. You’re not going to have a heart attack. What you have is unmanaged anxiety that is causing those symptoms. skipped beats are very common with anxiety. I have had them off and on for 20 years. They have not hurt me and I am in excellent health. One thing I learned during those years is that the more you worry about your health, the more symptoms you all have. You have to learn how to manage this and relax and you will notice that they will diminish. You may need some counseling for this because it’s difficult to do alone. get on YouTube and listen to some mindfulness meditation for anxiety.
You see, it all begins in the brain. When you think there’s something wrong with you you are convincing your brain of that. So the brain causes you to have symptoms.
anything that you constantly think of whether it’s positive or negative, will expand in your brain!!
YOU have had enough testing. There was nothing wrong. Skipped beats are common. Just get your regular check ups once a year and go on with your life. Life is too short to waste with fear. Take care
thank u Jen i really needed ! im having psychotherapy now online but not much is changed ,that makes me more worried why is not working ! ive done 3 sesions ! still a lot of heart realeted symptoms that just make my life so hard! since yesterday i have a eyelid twitch all the time which is concerning me now non stop! dont know what can cause it! also with the scares that coronavirus is giving to
us im just all alert for
everything now

hi Aria i have same problem i have skipped heart for one week,im 29 dats really scary anytime i have it i feel i will have a heart attack.I did echo test a few years ago it was normal.Dr told its because of anxiety.and yea i i feel same maybe this time its my heart and i should do another echo test.
do you have fast heart rate too? i have that too ! very debilitating fear
