i started getting heart palpitations like 20 mins ago and they are still there. is this normal? i've been on propranolol since friday.

I starting getting heart palpitations two after taking it. After that started I retained almost 20 pounds of fluid. I was allergic to it. But my doctor said it slows they heart rate so palpitations can happen. I would go see a doctor asap.
Thanks Amanda. I'm seeing my dr tomorrow. I'm trying to get to sleep, I'm 18 and I have school tomorrow. I'm worrying that I'm going to die or something :-(
I found sleeping elevated helped. Put some pillows around you too so you don't roll over. If at any point you feel like you can't get a full breath don't panic just wake someone up to watch you and stand up. It may be a fluid build up.
