hi everyone im 53 and have been in peri anout 3 yrs now i had a period last week just finished kast one was 6 months ago so fed up with all these symptoms but heart palpitations arr the worse for me sometimes i hardly notice them and then other times its all i seem to focus on are any of you lovely ladies the same and is there anything you do to help you through it i hate it sending hugs to you all xx

im 54 and i still get heart palpitations. can be scary but i try just yo breath through it if I can. Doctor suggested reducing caffiene which has helped.

Nannette did your heart palpitations come during the period time? I had a period after 7 months and was having no more heart palpitations until this period . im 53 too and i thought I was headed to being completed with periods . It totally surprised me. I was also starting to feel much better until this period ..symptoms started toward period ending.

they have got worse since this last period which i have just finished and seem to be ok when im busy but when im sat its awful hate it i have had just about every symptom but hate the palps
