Hi all, I'm worrying so much. So Ive been taking 1.25mg of Bisoprolol for five days now and I've noticed its helped a bit. When sitting my heart rate is between 68-80 bpm but however when I'm just standing it's about 100. I don't know if this is normal for just when standing and when walking I presume it's higher, I'm just worried I'm gunna die if I do any moving because to me that feels high, it's my birthday tomorrow and I wanted to try and go shopping but feel like my heart will give up because it will best too fast
60-100 bpm is considered normal
Yes I get that but what about when standing and walking
those resting readings are normal and the standing and moving readings are normal to.
go shopping have fun you will be fine.
i was sitting in the doctors on friday just for a medication review and my my resting heart rate shot up to 160 bmp. the perils of white coat syndrome🤣.
honestly though you will be fine. go and enjoy your birthday
Ive had anxiety since I was in grade school,it peaked for awhile in my 20s and would often get above 100,around 112,doc was not worried about it,I’m now in my 60s,can range anywhere when resting from mid 60s to 100,same when moving probably 80 to 100. Go out and have fun,the more you think about it the faster it can go. Thats the fight or flight part of anxiety. If you keep worrying go back to the doctor and tell him or her about your worries. Most of us on here are not doctors so all we can do is give our opinions, unless we are doctors just take it as opinions. Google anxiety and heart rate, that might help.
Yeah, I was going to say during high anxiety or a panic attack I can be at 160 to 170 laying down. I met people that go over 200 bpm! Could not imagine that lol. I love showing my resting rate of 150 bpm to my psychiatrist and him asking “are you sure you don’t have a heart condition?” Lol don’t say that to me I suffer from anxiety and you don’t you think I worry about it enough? You are the one giving me the pills for all these symptoms, if you are not sure why are you giving me pills?
I’m sure mine has gone up that high too during a panic attack, feels like its beating sooo fast. At the doctors I also get White Coat syndrome, makes my blood pressure go up also.
