Heart Related Or Anxiety?

Hi, I'm a 26 year old male who has been having a really hard time trying to figure out what is really going on. For the past two weeks I've been having chest discomfort and pains that is localized to the center of my chest. My chest is tight as well as my neck and shoulders. Everytime my heart rate increases, the discomfort gets worse. I start to worry that I am having a heart attack or angina pains. I've been to the ER twice where they did a total of 4 EKGs, Chest X Ray and blood work. Everything came back normal except having high blood pressure which can be contributed to my stress and anxiety around this issue as when they took my blood pressure when I was calmer, it started to reduce. Although the results came back normal, why does the chest discomfort get worst when I exert myself or when my heart rate increases? I can't seem to find any other logical reason other than possible heart issues. What can I do to stop this from happening?

My chest and back feel shaky and unstable as if they are going to give out. When I lie to go to sleep at night, my muscles in my back twitch non-stop until I finally go to sleep. I wake up extremely stiff and unable to get out of bed. This is causing me a great deal of stress and anxiety that I can't help but think its something more.

Sounds very much like anxiety related symptoms. Are you under extra stress or has something happened to trigger this anxiety. It's aweful and at least you know your heart is physically ok with all the tests you've had. Anxiety is really a physical reaction to stress and your body is responding to a perceived threat and that is why the adrenaline released creates all the horrible physical sensations.

Yeah been feeling tightness in my chest, especially when working out sometimes. Feared i was having a heart attack that I went into full blown panic attack. I lost my job due to anxiety and am not sure how I'm going to take care of myself.
