Hello all, Anyone ever experience this? This morning I was getting my kids ready for school and all of a sudden I felt off balanced and then I felt heat rising up in my chest which turned into a full on heat flash. Anyone ever get this heartburn/heat flash combination?
yes often my hot flashes are in the night and early morning but they start off feeling like intense heartburn which within seconds travels like heat up to my face. sometimes at night the heat travels from my sternum up to my upper back and feels like my skin is on fire. always with rapid heart rate and shakiness. its over in seconds so I know its a hot flash but it feels horrible. for me drinking alcohol before bed makes these worse SO CANT HAVE MY WINE ANYMORE ARGH

Mine started out like a huge hunger pang… tummy gurgled and everything, then intense heat rising from my chest to my face, skin felt like it was on fire. A little light-headed and off balance feeling afterward for several minutes.
Yeah, for me it was the off balanced feeling like the floor was swaying under my feet and then I felt this heat rising up from the middle of my chest and it continued up to my neck and face. I felt hot. It was weird. But like you said it only lasted for a brief moment but I still have the sensation in my chest after you get reflux, like a dull feeling. I have the intense hunger pains off and on too. It helps sometimes if I eat something but that would depend on what I eat too because certain foods could cause the chest to burn too. This is a vicious cycle we are on going round and round and nobody can tell us where or when it ends.
