Heartburn from plain chicken wrap

I've been having issues with heartburn and reflux but have general idea of what sets it off and what to avoid. But I've been getting a really bad reaction to a very plain chicken wrap and don't know why. It's a spinach wrap with baked chicken, mozzarella cheese, avacado and spinach. I only ate half of it and I can't figure out why it's giving me such a bad reaction. Thoughts?

Maybe you had a reaction to the wrap itself or the mozzarella.

I've had the same mozzarella recently so I don't think it's that. COuld be the wrap. It's just so strange because it's so plain. I can eat other breads and carbs fine.

It may be the ingredients in the wrap itself regardless of whether it's plain or not. If the wrap was processed this could also be the problem. Foods don't have to be spicy or rich to cause irritation.   Try cutting the wrap from your diet along with spinach and avocado for a few weeks and then reintroduce them to see if the symptoms come back.  This will help to narrow down what triggered the reactions.  If these don't cause problems, try eliminating chicken and then reintroduce it.

Was this the first time you ate a chicken wrap? If it was, the other possibility is that chicken was out of date.  If you have eaten it before, and you keep getting reactions,  one of more of these foods may be the culprit.
