I've answered the other post you put up about this on the other thread. If you are on 30mg pred I think you should have been offered ranitidine (Zantac) or omeprazole. A high dose like that is likely to cause the odd problem if you are on ordinary white tablets of pred rather than enteric coated pills (red 5mg, brown 2.5mg).

You can buy Ranitidine in Tesco or any other Pharmacy if you are away from home and your GP
I have cured my heartburn with a peeled, sweet, powdery type apple 10 mins before all meals. Amazing but its worked for me and now several other people. Try it
Orange peel is apparently good for it too, in fact it has a long list of cures!
really. Well I can vouch for the apple ... I have 3 a day every day now after years of severe acid reflux which still appears without the apple. Its about alkalising the stomach.
Now that we haven't heard about! I'll bear it in mind!
Well, I've heard that grated apple can be wonderful for nausea and about the only thing that is palatable when off food, but never for acid reflux. I've always relied on a few squeezes of lemon juice in warm water before eating, and others have found this works for them. Very interesting now to hear about the apple and the orange!
