I wonder if it is a possible side effect of my hrt.. Anyone have the same...I've has a scope and my tummy is fine.. So I'm just wondering if this is just another symptoms I must put up with... Would appreciate some feedback ladies. Thanks. CK

Hi Carol - I am 5/6 years post menopausal and have had the worst symptoms the last year - I have had episodes of extreme gas & bloating/upper right quadrant pain & now for the last 3 months a burning sensation that started on the upper tops of my feet /calves....lasted for 2weeks then for the past two months have had intense burning on my back/chest/neck and settles in my stomach.  These episodes have all started around the middle of the month, so after ruling out heart & another scary syndrome via tests and oodles of money, I can’t help but think it’s hormone related.  The burning stomach/nausea thing is new.  I feel like I need to eat, but have no appetite.  After such horrible episodes these past few nights, I am wondering if I am experiencing severe hot flushing/flashes and in combo with a type of migraine.  My head doesn’t hurt, but pulsates.  I was really hoping I was at the end of this long journey, but now it feels like it is just ramping up.  I have been to the ER last month with these symptoms, but last night was off the charts - felt like I was just going to explode into flames, also had anxiety and agitated.  I tried to calm myself with wet towels, lavender and magnesium, but nothing worked.  I keep going on this forum daily cuz nobody else seems to listen to me anymore - Ugh!

Hi Debra...

Thx for that... Yes I get the plusating head also... I get sweaty but not a full on flush.. The tummy feeling is awful and I think it can be worse when you are tired... You can think there is something else wrong with you.. I'm not as anxious thank god but tired of the symptoms...

I think its telling yourself to hang tight... It's hard but what choice do you have...hope you feel better soon.....Good to know I'm not alone in this... It's a nightmare at times but thankful I have this site... Hang tight there.. I hope we both can get pass this.. CK

Hi Carol - I am curious about how many days out of the month you experience your symptoms?  I would be Ok if I had a few bad days a month, but it appears to be consuming me & wrecking my life.  I don’t know if a dr will even put me hormones at this stage since I am 61, but I have got to get some relief of some kind - r u on any kind of hormone replacement? & if so, does it help?

Hi Debra.... This is alot of time with me and stronger at times... I'm too sick of it and keeping a dairy seems futile as its most of the time... I was thinking it may be a side affect hrt but you are not on it and stil have this tummy issue.. I don't have as much symptoms now but the tummy is the most difficult to deal with but I try not to worry about it but it's hard when it's persistent and I don't want to go back to the doctors to tell me the same thing... But I'm pressing on and keeping the faith... As I'm sure it's hormones... CK

Hi Carol, I 49 and i will be 50 in july, since last year i started to feel sick, had to call my neighbor many times to take me to the emergency room in the wee hours of the morning only to be told nothing is wrong or what i'm i stressing about to make my blood pressure so high. so i stop going and try wetting myself when it happen and sing and pray and cry to God for help. Then i went to my doc and told her what was happening to me and that i think it was menopause and she put me on estrogen, (premarin) and emmediately things change for me and i was feeling like myself again. But i was afraid to stay on it because i heard people talk about their bad experience with it, so i only take it for two weeks and then i decided to change my life. first i went on four weeks cleanse and detox.

First i must tell you what i was going though, there were my symtoms .

1)Heart palpitations and very high blood pressure .

2)heat going though the roof and heart racing.

3)Pain in all my joins

4) lost of sleep and appetite

That is to give you a few of the things i was going through. i think i had the whole 66 symptoms . And as i said i change my diet ,.

The first day i had fruit and nuts and drink a lot of water, although i wasnt a juice person in the first place, i would always have water and herb tea.

And so on day 2 i had vegetables lightly tost over the heat without oil or salt.

Day 3- 5 i did a juice fast for the three days. I made the juice from.

6 medium size carrots

2 medium beets

1 bell pepper

1 bunch spinach

2 large cucumber

1 head celery

1/4 lb string bean

And blend with apple juice enough to make 4 quarts and drink for 3 days and i did a enemas after each day.

And then i did a 5 days fruit fast where i eat watermelon, grapes and cantelope.

and after that i lost 18 lbs.

My doc gave me Estroven, which is plant base and have no side effect, so now i'm a little better still get the heat but not so bad i can live with it now.

And i also take vitamin D3, vitamin E, Calcium with magnesium and potassium 1000mg,and 500mg magnesium. and ealts of vegetables and lots of exercise i wake 4 day each week about 3- 4 miles. So my dear Carol don't give up there is hope , i know it is tough but with God's help and each others encouragement we can make it though. so go to your health food store and get Estroven and try it .lots of hugs to all my sisters.Hyacinth!
