I’ve been suffering with heavy long periods now for about 1 1/2 years. I’m on my period now for the 15th week straight. (I have been to my GP and have only had 1 ultrasound scan which showed cysts on my ovaries) My GP then put me on Yasmin about 2 months ago (which has done nothing, hasn’t stopped them/ made them lighter or shorter, it has literally done nothing) however as of this morning I got a sudden shooting pain which has left me in a lot of pain in my stomach, tops of my legs and my lower back, having a wee is also painful. Paracetamol and Ibfrophen have only helped with the pain a tiny bit. Is this a GP problem? Would I be overreacting by going to A&E?? Anyone experienced this?
