Hello

Hi to everyone, newbie here.  I've just been Px'ed Orlistat as the last resort for me.  I'm probably one of the few men on this forum, but thanks to all you girls for providing lots of advice and exprerience.  I've already PM'ed Britney for a copy of her blog.   My wife and I were Mr and Mrs finalists in 2007, having lost five stone between us.  We did not win, but it was nice to be nominated.  I know SW works, but I can't motivate myself, hence the orlistat.  I look forward to more tips and anecdores.

Thanks I might give that a go I've just been cal counting and go in to gym

You're doing it properly now, can't go wrong watching what you eat, and doing exercise.   I'm hoping to get back into the gym once a bit of weight comes off.

Hi welcome and the best of luck on your journey, it's hard to break food habits, I'm a long time comfort eater, so it's not about being hungry which is harder.  Let me know how it goes

Thanks for the welcome No cake face.  It's been a week now and it's going well, the tablets take away the need for will power biggrin .  I work in a hospital and it's hard when the patients bring chocolates in and I can't have any.  But hey, that's a small price to pay for the weight loss.  I'm not going to weigh myself until I go to the doctor's when the month is up, so it should be a nice surprise.

Phil

Well guys it's been a month now, went to to the doctor and got weighed, I lost 3.8Kg or 8lbs in old money.  I'm very happy with that as I would have been fine with losing a pound a week.  Keep up the good work everyone.

Phil

Wow, well done Filsgreen!

Have you had any trouble with the side effects?

Thanks Miniblue. None at all thankfully, just made sure I never ate more than 5% fat.
