Hi all I upped my fluoxetine 4 weeks ago to 60mg been rough few weeks however yesterday I have been so I’ll sickness sweating but chills and really achy legs I’m wondering if this could be serotonin syndrome but would it take 4 weeks for it to be that or would it have happened straight after upped dose and this could just be a bug an anxiety making me think the worse any help please would be so grateful xx
Hi jessica it could be the fluoxetine making you feel that way as a side effect from uping your dose or possibly you could be getting a bug dont think it is serotonin syndrome because that would normally happen straight away hold in there for a day or two if it continues I would see your gp just to put your mind at ease x
Thank you I think I had a bug was ok the next day apart from my side effects from the increase which are still pretty bad after 4 weeks was hoping to feel a lot different by now xx
