Hi im new here 33 yr old female had reflux problems about five years on/off
However last 8 weeks (think it started from swallowing a large pill with not much liquid) i had a lump feeling when swallowing v painful then was on omsoperzole and then gaviscon had a few stomach cramps and then the severe belching started! Like all day after drinks or foods just constantly the gp switched me onto raintidine after 6 weeks and gaviscon the belching has improved but still there a bit after eating however i seem to have terrible heartburn its lasting for hours!! The lump feeling isnt as bad and is more gas build up now and is relieved by butping for a few seconds until it builds up again! This is also causing a few back and chest pains too i dont know what else to do! Anyone experience this? Usually id take the anti acids and a few days later be fine but this has been two months!! What tests should i ask for? Shouldnt it have improved by now? Im panicking its something more serious now
