hun please do a swab/go to your doctor… it’s not looking promising in addition to the lymph nodes and other flu symptoms. i use site for hook ups and plenty of “attached” & married men reach out to CDs among women to get bj and more. Always worth the check.
This looks like a herpes cluster. I know because i have herpes. I dont want to worry you, but comfort you because this will likely be the worst and most painful of the infections, so the worst is already over. It lessens over time, and i have not had an infection for about for 4 years. I contracted it 8 years ago and that whole time have only had these painful clusters or (any symptoms at all) 3 times.
Go to the doctor, they will give you a pill to immediately stop this outbreak and you will not be in pain. I was very mentally traumatized when i got herpes but it is truly not even a factor in my life now and its so much easier/ less awful than the stigma says.
That being said i could totally be wrong so get to a doctor regardless, like yesterday girl
Hugs
thanks girls, i will call for an appointment tomorrow
i did wonder about herpes and coincidentally i have broken out with a coldsore too!
just worried about how to approach this with my husband. We have been isolating since March at home because of our sick child (explains why i have been so run down), so have not left eachothers side once, so cant be a ‘new’ infection, but i know herpes can lay dormant.
I got everything crossed its not, as this would be the end of our marriage for sure.
If you get cold sores and he get cold sores on the mouth then it is possible to get HSV1 in your genitals via oral sex.
If your husband has HSV orally, he could pass it on to your genitals even if he is asymptomatically shedding. (I have herpes genitally and this is how I got it, from someone who got cold sores.)
Many people never pass it on and sometimes others due depending on when the virus is shedding, if they are about to get a cold sore, or if they have a herpes outbreak and don’t realize. If he gave it to you then it’s very rare you could give it back to him in a different body part (i.e. if he has it orally, it would be rare you could give it to him genitally, and vice versa.)
He also could have HSV-1 or HSV-2 genitally and have passed it on to you. He could have had it for many years. 90% of people with herpes never get symptoms and they don’t know they have it. Even if you have been married for many years and if he has had it, it doesn’t mean you would have caught it. It’s mostly up to chance.
Best of luck!! If it’s herpes just know it’s the second most common STI (HPV is first) and that it will get better and it’s maneagable.
