HELP getting help

So I have a doctors appointment coming up soon. For some reason it was super tough getting a closer appointment I have two weeks left and made the appointment two weeks ago.

Anyways I made it to have my birth control removed since I've just gotten insurance it's been an urgent matter so I picked that for my first appointment.

Would it not be a good time to bring up anxiety since that's not what appointment was made for?

Should I made another separate appointment?

Anyways, I need advice on how to bring this up to my doctor. Anyone's personal experience is appreciated. I just DO NOT want to freak out too much and s**t down without bringing up my struggles with anxiety. I'm tired of dealing with this unexpectedly and alone.

When I mentioned my anxiety to my GP it was actually an appointment to get a mole checked out. I had worked myself up about the mole and other health things that are going on that as soon as I sat down in the GP room I just broke down and told her exactly how I was feeling.

It is a tough step to make but it's a positive one, asking for help is difficult but it is a step in a positive direction. You just need to be honest and tell the doctor exactly how you are feeling, they are there to help.

Sending you love and remember you are doing the right thing and the thing that will help you and improve your mental health ❤️

Hi you can talk about your anxiety at your appointment.Just be honest about how you are feeling and that you need help. They have heard this loads of times so just go for it.Ask for therapy and don't just take medication as therapy helps more than medication on its own.Good luck
