Thanks for your reply. GP didn’t think it was warts and can’t get tested for it for months. What makes you sure so I can try push for the test and get treatment?
Hey, it’s gonna be all right. Have you had the HPV vaccine? There is treatment to remove the wart, usually a gynecologist or dermatologist. I suggest you do the pap smear too, because depending on the type of hpv it can cause pre-cancerous lesions in the cervix. It is important to monitor the cervix for 5 years, do the pap smear every 6 months and the hpv PCR collected from the cervix.
Use a condom during sexual intercourse if you are single. If you are married, I recommend that you tell your husband to go see a doctor for warts, because warts can be small and subclinical, not easily seen.
