I am 34 and “healthy” i started having issues one year ago which made me pause and seek help. Finally my dr said my stool teat is positive for H Pylori. I was told im young enough and that once medicine round 14 days is done, all will be good. I have 4 days to go. my concern is this. if you look at a “poop chart” (whoever told me this would be what i would be googling as a 34 yo mom of three). I go from far hardness to loose stool almost “the runs” but not quite. Since ive been on the meds the stool is always loose and in pieces (sorry for the overshare). i do not feel the upper “burning” really ever. the bloat, gas and the potty habits are there. i had a ct scan come back all clear ( abdominal). but since polyps run in my family i worry about the colo-rectal stuff that cant be seen. Also i have has “thin stools” that got bigger and more “solid” but not quite perfect when taking a fiber product. Do i wait and see what the stool looks like after the antibiotics are done or do I keep pushing ahead to see a GI dr and request a colopo because of the thin stool and symptoms that are not so “classic” H-Pylori? im really done with stressing about this as it is consuming my life.thank you and to all i wish you wellness and peace.
