Im 47 and suffered from anxiety for 20 yrs most recently I have been having OCD thoughts. The Dr said if i don't take meds at this point I will wind up with even bigger problems with my mental health
But one of my biggest fears is taking medication as simple as an advil. I hate how i feel but I hate to take meds that might not work.... I'm so scared...
Hi ajjfam I no exactly what you mean I got so badly addicted to my medication it took me over 20 years to deal with my problems but I must say if your doctor says you need them ask your dr what the side effects are and how long does your doctor think you will be on them for just go with your eyes open
Sorry you feel this way. Your doctor is most likely correct however. Have you tried a therapist? Maybe some xanex to relax you a bit?
It's another pill I'm afraid to take... plus I did wind up taking the 20mg of paxil and I didn't sleep and I had diarrhea this morning and feeling a little more anxious........ dammit
