I discovered red bumps around 1st december during my period and I thought nothing of it at first.
Background: I never had sex, was given oral by my ex last december (2020) and he subsequently tested negative for herpes. My recent contact was end october where i kissed and a guy and got fingered.
The area wasn’t painful, just really itchy. And it left behind some brown spots and im worried that it might be herpes now. It still itches a little now, but in general, the area itches. Im wondering if herpes blisters gives u scars like this?
Hi Alice, you had very limited contact so by your history, it’s unlikely to be herpes. Herpes is usually really painful and disappear without scarring. Itching is usually more associated with yeast infection. Would you be comfortable to upload a picture of the spots so we can help? Also, did you notice any change in your discharge like smell or texture?
