Just yesterday I noticed this red, flaky area on my groin. I assumed it was jock itch as there was no raised bumps to my knowledge. I scratched it maybe twice all day. That night, I noticed it was now open wounds after wearing tight clothing for a few hours. They are a little sore, and red but have not crusted over or leaked any fluids. I haven’t had sex since October and have not experienced any outbreaks like this ever. I have a doctors appointment scheduled in 2 weeks but was hoping to get some insight before then.
