Hi everyone, first of all excuse my language because English is not my first language so. I ve been suffering and depressed for like 2 years. I am so sick of it. Everytime when I go to sleep, I got weird feelings, such as feeling my heartbeat, tingling sensation, boating and neck tension etc...so manu weird feelings that I cant explain. Whenever I eat fast food or eat large meal I got those feeling too. Whenever I drink , I forget all weird feelings and feeling normal but after night out those feelings gonne be doubled. So I ve been searching my feelings on google , then I ve found this group and I felt so happy for being in here. Also, after I checked my feelings , I got POTS syndrome, autonomic dysfunction, chronic fatague, adrenal disorder and anxiety. I am very confused what am I gonna do? Which of these syndrome is happening to me? I got panic attack on 2016, after that night my life turned out upside-down. I went to lot of doctors and got ecg, ultra sound , blood test etc. Everything was normal. I even went to physologist and he said I was okey. But my heart rate is too sensitive and my blood pressure too. For example, when I change position my heart rate shoots up even my BP, when I eat, when I try to feel heart rate, when I eat, when I drink, when I feel excited(I get excited very easily IDK why) etc...I am so curious why even my BP gets high whenever my heart rate goes up. When I feel safe and calm my heart rate and BP stays cool and steady. I am suffering 2years. I want my normal life back. Anyone same as me? Pls help me
Sorry you are feeling like me! Gave you seen a cardiologist ir just had an EKG. Ny heart races all the time. I have anxuety and depression as well as a condition called suoraventricular tachycardia. The only problem is, is that they have never caught it on an EKG. I have worn monitors several times but it never happened. Only problem with me is my anxiety makes my heart rate go up also. On exertion, it can go to 110. When I am having a panic attack, 120. I stopped googling my symptoms as I had everything I googled just like you. I would see a cardiologist to rule out any heart condition. Stress reduces a lot if hormones that do crazy things to your heart rate and BP. Have you had your thyroid checked. This is a common disorder that goes undiagnosed a lot. The people here are great and very supportive. I go crazy with rapid heart rate. How high does yours go? What is your BP? Don't give up. See as many doctors as you need to.
Thank for repsonding. I ve already checked my thyroid , it came back normal. When I sit my heart rate be like 80-90 then when I stand up it shoots up to 100-120 in just a second. My BP really depends on my heart rate I think. Sitting BP 127-85 when stand up 145-93 like that. I really dont know why my heart rate and BP are sooo sensitive.
first of all, Alcohol is a depressant. Stay away from it. Second of all, I think you need to see another doctor. You need a psychiatrist/ therapist. not psychologist. There is no test that shows depression or anxiety. If you are feeling anxiety and, or having panic attacks there are a lot of different meds out there to help, if that's the route you want to take. Getting a little help doesn't hurt and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Talk to a therapist to see what the best route for you to take. They often set you up with a nurse practitioner who prescribes meds. j Just Make sure you find one that wants to help and isn't just pushing pills. You will know if they are or are not. They can tell you what they feel is the right treatment for you. You sound over anxious. There are many axiety medications that can usually help.. You should also discuss your blood pressure with your primary doctor. NOT GOOD, you will most likely have to take blood pressure meds to keep your blood pressure down That can be your culprit too. Baby steps. Find a feel doctor. Not one that says there is nothing wrong with you.
I have listened to some of these posts and I too would recommend seeing a cardiologist and make sure everything is O.K. with that. 120 does fall in the normal range but you say it's going up and down when you sit than stand. I was told by my doctor it could be lack of Magnesium, Your cortisol is too high magnesium, thyroid, potassium stressed. and some meds can cause it as well. make sure the side effects aren't depression, pounding heartbeat, shortness or breath Thes will just add to your depression. I've been suffering for many years now and we are still trying to find something for me. I'm on Lamotrigine, Buspar and I take Lorazepam for those lousy days..Make sure you are not depressed look into bipolar. people with bipolar can't and don't do well with antidepressants, they made me more depressed. Go the route of mood disorder...Every time I wake up in the morning, I start off with a pounding heartbeat and anxiety in the gut and I have a stomach ache. It seems to taper as the day progresses and disappears at night time. Now one can figure that out until an online doctor said my cortisol levels may be too high. He said the cortisol levels are slow as we sleep and rise when we wake up. So I'm just as confused about this as well. But first of all, check your heart and rule that out first,, One of my sons had a problem when rising from a sitting position, he got wobbly and the doctor said it was a lack of sodium. Don't give up no matter what a doctor tells you. Like I said, there is no test that picks up depression or anxiety. SO take care of your self and push these doctors until you have an answer.....Wish you well
