hi everyone I have been on severe pain since Monday evening with major stomach ache high up lasted 2 days the stopped! went drs as was still tender he said possible biliary colic or gall bladder. left it a day and was feeling horribly sick and pain in my side back where my kidney is right hand side and peeing none stop. got back into the drs and she did a urine dip test and it lit up like a Xmas tree showing severe kidney infection and dehydration. Now I am home alone well kids here and hubby out but I am still feeling rotten and I think my anxiety is kicking in. I suffer with health anxiety, 3nd Dr said it's git to more the kidney infection then the gall bladder thing but I am getting a dull at the top of my stomach again, am I completely over worrying as having a kidney infection is not nice and because I'm worrying I'm making my anxiety kick in and making me feel worse? anyone experience this before I have had 5 antibiotics since I was prescribed them late yesterday afternoon do they still need time to kick in? looking for advice/reassurance probably thank you before I go into panic mode xx I have managed to just about get through day feelings sick and crap but night times always seem worse thankyou x
All I can recommend is give the Antibiotics time to work. and if things have not cleared go back to the Surgery and explain how you feel.
If you are suffering from your Anxiety it will of course make you feel worse. Depending how many tablets you have you will need to take the whole script because if you stop the medication can become ineffective now and possibly in the future
If you are still concerned make another appointment to see your GP

I will however be going back if no improvement
