Hi, my partner Sarah aged 46 has been on 100mg Sertraline for a few years now for sever anxiety and also suffers with migraines during her cycle which she takes 100mg tablets of sumatriptan over a few days, over the cause of a few months she has really changed going from being really quiet to being really confident controlling mildly aggressive and argumentative a complete change in character but only to me and some close friends.
Does anyone know if this could be caused by her medication? I have flagged this with her GP but he obviously cant tell me anything
I'm absolutely at my wits end and would really appreciate any help possible. Thanks in advance
I'm on day 40 of sertraline and I notice this to , my mood changes drasticcally , one minute I feel calm and can step back and calm a situation down like no dramas then next minute I get really annoyed and snappy then I might feel abit chatty again then really quite
Thanks for the reply, i think as a whole Sertraline has worked massively for her as over the years I've seen her getting better and better to a point where she is probably now getting over confident and taking on things that she would never have done before which I suppose in a way is a good thing. But if I'm totally honest she finished our relationship 3 weeks ago just like a switch which all of our friends and family say they never saw it coming as we looked so in love
I just wanted to get people's opinions as to if this could be down to her medication or not and if other people had experienced anything similar
