Ok. I cant live like this anymore. I need answers. Only thing i tested positive for is hsv1- blood test. no swab done gyno says herpes. three other docs said no way, its a rash. have used antifungal creams, diaper rash creams, wipes instead of toilet paper. im lost and depressed. this is ruining my life. i pray no one has experienced this before, but i hope someone has answers. rash that goes from front to back. swollen labia. red rash is wet. red dots on inner labia-not bumps, just red dots. small bumps in rash will come and go. doesnt itch all the time, but peroidically will itch like crazy.
In my opinion its the HSV1 causing the rash. Did anyone recommend Acyclovir cream and oral tablets? . You need antiviral medication not antifungal creams. It looks very painful
gyno did give me Acyclovir oral. no topical and it did nothing really, just took some redness away for a day or so, until it returned. Can hsv cause a rash like this?
How long did you take the Acyclovir? It needs to be taken for up to 12 months to clear herpes from the HSV1 virus.
