Hiya' everybody!
So on September 2nd I carelessly didn't check to make sure my fingers were completely clean after finishing giving my partner a hand job. Remember wiping away any leftover liquid onto a paper towel and assumed it would be okay to touch near my pelvic/clit area. Being the worrywart that I am, though, decided to go and take a Plan B pill less than 24 hours after the events.
My period had been expected to start on the 9th of September, but as a person with incredibly irregular periods to begin with, expected it to start late as it usually does. Instead, my period started a day earlier on the 8th in early afternoon, with an excessive amount of thick, dark brown discharge with heavy traces of dark-bright red blood. This had been somewhat concerning, but then paid no mind after later than day and into the 9th I had an incredibly heavy flow of bright red blood with small amounts of black clots (something that is also normal during my regular periods), until the 10th when it just stopped, turning into nothing but dark brown discharge with dark-bright red blood mixed in and has continued that way into the 11th and today as well.
Am afraid these might be signs of early pregnancy or implantation bleeding, despite taking the morning after pill immediately, and not having any early pregnancy, or period symptoms such as nausea, headaches, backaches, breast tenderness/swelling, fatigue, etc. I've felt just fine, really, but incredibly stressed out over the idea of it being something like pregnancy, or worse so that might have some effect on the flow, along with the dose of hormones from the Plan B pill?
Uncertain if this information will change anything, but earlier during this same cycle I had taken a Plan B pill out of concern after having protected sex with my partner. Our condom didn't break, but I still took the pill less than 24 hours after the event, so perhaps a double dosage of increased hormones, plus stress, along with a change in diet, and the terrible sinus drainage/congestion I've had throughout this cycle might have something to do with this really bizarre period?
That might just be wishful thinking though, but any and all advice would seriously be appreciated! Thank you so much to anyone who does comment, and you have my apologies for this being such an extensive post.
Sincerely,
Lilbitnervous.
