Help please!!!

Ok so I was just saying today how i haven't had a panic attack in two days.. I was sleeping and all of a sudden I woke up with a weird pain in the middle of my chest. It was a sharp pain that only lasted probably 5 seconds. But right after I got hot, more nauseous than I already was, and just filled with fear.. Now I'm trying to tell myself it's anxiety, but my mind is telling me it was my heart. Directly after it happened, I felt like I had to pass gas (tmi I know), but I didnt think you could get a chest pain directly in the middle like that from gas.. What was it??

im not sure my lovely but I know gas/wind can be very painful and I do know that heart attack symptoms are different in women so it may not be central chest pain for women sorry i cant be of more help but im sure it will be the gas if you are worried ring the gp my love even to put your mind at rest but also maybe some one else on here can shed some light. hope you are ok

Gas, every time.

You've ten billion tests on your heart. You know it's healthy.

have you started therapy yet?

don't let the anxiety control you - learn how to control it.

tess sorry to jump in on another conversation but i wondered if you would know on my face  peri menopause the last three days i have had a burning as if the sun is beating on my face but no other symptoms i have realised now im out of panic mode that around my eye and cheek its a little bit uncomfortable could this be part of the symptoms? I have notice the last few weeks my sinus/s have been playing up something I have never suffered. so sorry once again to jump on anothe conversation

Gas. Try keeping a few bottles of club soda around. My sister and I even keep a small one in the car. A few big gulps will have you belching big time. Gas can be trapped all over the torso.

I was so excited that I went two whole days without it. Now I'm just annoyed because I start back from square one once again. I'm so sick of constantly being scared.. I've been having chest pains and been able to just tell myself it's gas or my muscles acting up (i have that thing where your chest walls swell a bit) and have been fine. This pain though is the kind that I've always said "oh as long as u don't have this kind of pain you're fine"

And no therapy yet.. August 1st is when my insurance finally will kick in

That happens to me! Gas is painful. Gas pain can move around so when I have gas pains I drink a carbonated beverage to make me burp. It really helps. I have weird chest pains that come and go. I think someone with anxiety tends to try to figure out why they have pain and it makes it worse and more intense. The adrenaline you get when you start to panic is tough. I really think it was gas.....

club soda is not only super carbonated, but it has bicarbonate in it that helps neitralize acid.
