Has anyone had a scary bad reaction to citalopram at 10 and started at 2.5 again and did fine
2.5mg? I didn't know it went that low.
Well last time I went on it in 2009 I started at 20 and was at 40 in two weeks.I had no trouble at all!I stupidly went off when I was good and now can't tolerate even 10 mg!You can break them down into fourths.It is bad because I did so good the last time and I don't even remember having any side effects!This time I lasted two days!Burning under my skin panic insomnia restless mind racing!Horrible
The last time I was on 15mg was in 2009 as well AND just like you, I don't remember having any side effects other than some weight gain. I also stopped it abruptly not knowing how bad it would mess me up! I'm back on 20mg daily and have mild side effects...maybe your body is just "shocked"? Because I am only on my third day and don't feel many side effects except low appetite and trouble sleeping. Did your GP recommend to break them into fourths? You might just have to start back up very slowly.
