Hello! I have a young baby at home. She has had to have a trach. After several weeks of disturbed nights, careful skilled observation, discussion, quiet prayers and multiple tests, we decided to have the op. It was what our little girl needed. We were able to come home after that. She has open lesion spina bifida. And she also has a shunt too. That was checked via a brain MRI during our first ever hospital stay to see if she needed it replaced but everything was fine. However this weekend has been funny. My little girl has had trouble maintaining a satisfactory level of oxygen during her nap and at night. Her numbers are fairly low too. I am carefully watching her now wondering if I should take her back tomorrow morning. I have emailed her pulmonary doctor yesterday morning about her latest problem. What do I do? Keep us in your prayers. If we do need to stay again at the hospital I will update this.
