This is exactly the same circumstances that caused the C Diff with me. Tooth infection, same antibotic.

My advice would be go to a GI, he'll probably wasn't a stool sample. I have absolutely no idea.I'm very sorry not much help. Let me know what you find out.

Don't we 'love' it. ... cure one, get something else.

At least we know, that that one little nast lives silently in us and whenever offered this group of antibiotics again, I am like: nope, sorry, can't take.

Gee I know your post is 2 years ago. But did you ever find out what the stick like thing in your poop was? Because i had 2 appear in my poop last night

So this morning I was trying to go #2 and i only did a little bit. I wiped like normal and then got into the shower to get ready for work. As i was washing my butt area, I felt something hard sticking out of my you know what and I pulled it out and it was long like 3 or 4 inches long!! Hard like straw and yellow-ish, orange-ish color. I took a picture of it and saved it. I'm so scared I'm gonna take it to the doctor.

hi, sorry ive just seen this! i never found out what it was... i didnt take any tablets or do any cleanses & i think it just gradually went away..

never found out what it was!! it went on for over a year & then just gradually went away. never done any cleanses or treatment, sorry!

Judy, have you see anyone about this yet? I'm noticing the same in my stool and am concerned. I would have described as 2-3 inch flat plastic strings but think your description of hay is more fitting. Please let me know what you find out. Thank you.
