I recently shaved my beard off fully today and to my surprise I discovered two unsightly red marks that had gone unnoticed on my face. They do not appear to be acne scarring, nor are they sore or dry, just strange red welts that have popped up from nowhere. I do have moderate acne that I treat with benzyl peroxide and have grown out my facial hair many times but I have not experienced anything like this before.
The one on my upper lip is small and not noticeable, but the one on my chin is very large and aggressive looking, any help or thoughts on what these marks may be would be greatly appreciated.
