Im feeling really nervous and I'm so tired I feel nauseous and I don't know how to calm down I'm shaking anyone please
Hello!I know how you feel because I've been in the same situation. You feel tired because if you suffer from anxiety all your body is in tension,in alert, your muscles are contracted. You must try to relax, and the most important thing, you have to keep your mind busy,is all in our mind, the less we think about it the less it will affect us.Go for a walk, read practise some sport, find new activities to do.Try to carry on with your life, dont let anxiety to take control over it.You can find videos on the internet that help to relax body an mind, they helped me a lot.
Hi there,
I've struggled with severe anxiety and depression, one of the things I try to focus on is what I enjoy doing, which isn't much these days, but watching positive movies is a good way for me to focus on something else and also feel uplifted, even just a little.
It's worth speaking to a GP, as they can offer medication that may help alleviate some anxiety, They can also help if you feel you need time off work, as sometimes that is what's needed in order to feel better.
I hope you begin to feel better and remember it's important to be around the right kind of people; people that understand you and treat you well and that know your worth.
Take care,
Josh

ye I have the same anxiety I work night Iam signed off I can't cope with nights I will have to leave in the end it ain't helping because I can't sleep in the day and it makes it worse
Hey,
I'm currently signed off worked. I'm on Employment & Support Allowance, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit. I worked in a very stressful, unhappy job because I needed to pay the bills.
It took over a year to see a GP that actually understood depression and the first thing she asked me was "Do you need some time off?", which I desperately did, but my response to that was "I can't as the company doesn't pay sick pay", she was sorry to hear that but still advised I be signed off work as was unfit to work. After about a week I decided to be signed off as I had no other choice. In the end I decided to resign my position, as it was too unhealthy a place for me to work, combined with everything else that was contributing to my depression and anxiety.
I wasn't even aware I could get support, but as I was signed off by a GP, it made it possible to get benefits, which have covered my basic living costs for the past 18 months.
I can't say what would work for you with your circumstances and I can't remember if my benefits started when I was still employed but not working or after I resigned. But if you become too ill and could be signed off you could go online and potentially take at what support may be available to you.
Take care,
J
