Help with late period? Please?

Hi everyone,

So a little background on me. I started my periods when I was 6 years old. Had heavy periods for a year, then they completely disappeared for about 3 years(?) and started up again when I was 9/10 ish.

I've always had heavy, painful and irregular periods for as long as I can remember.

Because of this I track my cycle on my phone, I'll log any symptoms, it tells me my average cycle length, tells me when I'm due a period etc. Well I was due one 23 days ago, still no signs of it and this is the longest I've ever gone with no signs of my predicted period. I've also noticed that when I go to pee there's clear, mucus like discharge (TMI, sorry rolleyes )

What could this possibly be? I mean I know I have irregular periods but last time I visited my doctor she said there's usually an underlying issue and she'd want me to do some sort of hormone test in the future (I'd originally went to see her about recurrent pelvis pain).

Oh, and pregnancy is out of the question.

Another thing, does anyone know what hormone tests the doctor could've been referring to and if they'd be worth doing?

How old are you? Could this be the beginning of perinenopause symptoms? . Your doctor will try and measure hormone levels but they do fluctuate throughout the month. A mucus discharge is sometimes a sign of ovulation in the middle of a cycle. Hope this helps a little
