I have only just been diagnosed with HS. Am using clindamycin gel and dactakort cream. Hardly any lumps but the itching is terrible (groin), I wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep. Any recommendations welcome please?
When you feel itching Dont do with your hands or nails just do with clean cloth. and apply some ice you will feel better
Mine just started itching as well.
I have found epsom salt baths and hot compress helps with itching and pain.
Try aloe vera gel (you get it in the suncream section of a chemist), or a thermal spring water spray. Both will relieve itchy sensitive skin. The aloe vera gel has helped me with severe itching but I've actually noticed a difference in my HS from the thermal spring water and that some long lasting open cysts have almost disappeared since using it, so maybe give that a go as well?
