Hi all I've been suffering with problems down below for 4 years now, I was 58 when I went through the menopause and have been having these problems ever since . Burning ,discharge that burns, pain and irritation . After many examinations and swabs which all came back clear the gp said I have atrophic vaginitis and he's put me on Gynest cream . After six weeks of treatment I'm still in has much pain and the discharge is no better . Do you think I should push to see a gynaecologist . I'm at the end of my tether . It also causes urine frequency too . Fed up .
