I work out on a daily basis. Does anyone know if the stress you put your body under during weight lifting or running can trigger an outbreak. Also, I had my fever and headache about a month ago and I have not had an outbreak. But I still don't feel well. How long can this take to get through the initial systems. Can I have all the other symptoms without an actual outbreak?
john45916 you are not dirty, things happen we're human and make mistakes, if it makes you feel any better please know you are not alone. It sounds like you really care about your special lady, try talking to her and explaining you had no idea you had this and you hope she understands. Don't dwell on the past and don't stress about the future, what's done is done and you were able to live a happy life until you found out recently so just focus on that moving forward.
Now that you know I would recommend you become as informed as possible, that helped me to understand how to move forward. Just remember, you are more than just a skin virus it sounds like you are a loving partner and a soon to be grandfather so don't let something like a skin condition stop you from enjoying those special things in your life. Best of luck!
John already had the talk, which went well, and is in a much better place already!
I don't think exercise itself is triggering, but any friction in the area caused by exercising could be. Triggers vary from person to person and are not well understood, so best to observe your own routine and body rather than go by what websites and other people say are triggers. Regarding your symptoms, etc., I replied to your other post.
