Hey group I wanted to get your opinion. I have joint pain, sharp pain in my back leg and feet. Mental confusion, anxiety, trouble sleeping. I keep coming back to this is lymes. Anyone share these symptoms and had lymes and got better ?
Those are certainly Lyme symptoms. Do you recall ever getting a bite and/or rash?
Those are just a few of the symptoms of Lyme. Yours could be a number of things and yes it might also be Lyme.
Unfortunately with Lyme time is of the essence...
If you have recently contacted it then it needs fast treatment in order not to become chronic.
Did you have a recent flu like illness?
Were you anywhere recently where ticks are present
Todays news item says it is in South West(Cornwall, Devon and Somerset) as well as Thetford Forest , Norfolk and South east and scotland.

UK see your GP (sorry but you won't get much joy there unless you remember the bite and the bulls eye rash)
USA see your PCG.- Hopefully he knows about Lyme.
Hi yes and it is in our village in cambridgeshire they analysed a tick and found it poss for lyme and Co infections 2 weeks doxy cilia is not enough you need 6 and the Elisa tests are 50%inacurate.you don't always get a rash and there is new evidence saying it's not just ticks that carry lyme and Co infections.black flies spiders flees and mosquitoes.it's been found present in 50%semen and 100%vaginal fluid and tears and saliva so they think it may also be transmitted sexualy.in a small study 1 probs spouse tested poss for the same strain

Yes I read that too and that is how they think it can be transmitted to parners and children.
I read a paper where mice have also found to harbour infected mites!
So 6 weeks is now recommended. GP's won't like that..
