I'm so anxious today literally can't keep still. Doc has given me diazepam but I'm too acted still to take it! I'm struggling to breathe & feel like I'm going to faint!
Shall I take one?

Did you tell the dr about the breathing problem?
If you are struggling to breathe then you need to ring 111 or 999 and let them assess you. They will more than likelt advise you NOT totake any medication especially diazepam which can dpress respirations/breathing.
Have you go any existing chest problems? Are you taking any hormonalpills?
Please ring for a dr..

Docs knows me well, he tested my heart, BP etc. It's anxiety that's making me feel like I can't breathe.
I've got no respiratory problems & don't take hormonal treatment.
Just too scared to take my diazepam 😩
Hi Faye,why are you afraid to take it?as long as you are sensible it will ease your symptoms,try taking 1/2 a tablet before you go to bed,it will help you to relax,if you are concerned about taking it go back to your GP and ask for something different,there are other things that you can have that are not addictive, don't keep suffering,go back to your GP x

If you are feeelig like this then I would advise that you contact a dr or 111 or 999. It is hard to advise you when we cannot see you. I trained as a nurse.

Why dont you try it. If too scared break it in half and try half. You will feel very calm within 30 minutes after taking it,
