Didn't they give you any medication for the yeast? You can take a one-dose oral tablet, so it doesn't matter if you have your period or not.
They gave me a cream but I'm goin through my first outbreak it's no way I can use the cream until this passes to painful
The cream is for yeast? Ask for the tablet form. Not sure if you can get that OTC where you are, but you take it orally.

Mine started with my period too..How's that for timing lol! Just make sure you use sanitary towels not tampons and change regularly even if you haven't bled much, that will minimise any further irritation. Resist the temptation to use any soaps, just water will do fine.
Yes I haven't been using soap jus warm water n towels cuz it's not heavy I really don't have a period due to my birth control so it's kinda light but still uncomfortable
