so have been feeling ill for around 2 years with constant nausea and general unwell feeling and fatigue , after a lot of differnt tests everything came back normal. one of the days i felt a intense dull pain in upper right abdomen and sharp pain in my right shoulder which resualted with me being sick , ever since then the pain is a constant dull ache and feels like a pressure under right rib, aswell as me having a couple more attacks. i had a hida scan and resault was 32% so am being referred to surgeon. does anyone else have the general malaise and fatigue aswel as the pain. and did the gallbladder surgery help?
Hi Beth77670 I see you have made another post, I would advise you to look up on YouTube Gall Bladder extraction and you will find much on there about the procedure and what happens afterwards. It has made me think much differently about extraction indeed. I am fighting for a HIDA test myself and Dr’s and Hospital are proving to be very un-helpful with this sickness. However as I have said in your other post, I have the attacks basically under control and I am now aware of other issues! So I really want the HIDA test.
The pain in the shoulder is from the Liver not working with the Gall Bladder if I remember rightly? This site does bring much relief in knowing your not alone and that most receive and come up against the same problems medically. Glad you had the HIDA test though and your on the way to recovery, it is a shame however that the medical profession does not supply the information we all need!
No one but the medical profession can advise you because your circumstances will differ from others, so it is a good thing to try and research the subject before you make decisions.
I found general searching of the Internet unproductive but in You Tube was easier.
