Around a week ago my throat began to feel so sore and my tonsils were enlarged. I went to the doctor and was tested for strep, yet tested negative for A B and C. the doctor felt around and all of the lymph nodes surrounding my jawline, neck, and thyroid region are enlarged. i do not have a fever. i do have a goiter on my thyroid however i dont think that is causing this. it is very painful to swallow and hurts to eat. at first i thought it was just a sore throat considering i tested neg for strep but ive been developing these bumps on the back of my toungue as well as back of throat. i dont have mono. ive been hydrating a lot and i just want the pain to end so please leave your thoughts as to what this may be because im not eating or sleeping due to the pain!!
This looks quite similar to mine, I have the same bumps and not sure what is causing it. Although mine have been around since August when I had tonsilitis. I have no pain at all however. Did you find any resolution, did it go away?
