Yes!! It’s been a week today. Honestly this hasn’t been the hype or should I say the horror stories I have read. I researched alot prior to having surgery. My diet has been KEY! I stopped eating red meat. Fruits and veggies, lots of H20 and of course stool softeners and Milk of Magnesium. My first BM was not painful and none have been. 3 to 4 sitz baths throughout the day helped relax that sleeping anus muscle. I just recently added in chicken, easier to digest. Preparation H is also another help aid, along with Tucks pads in between. I stopped taking the pain meds on day 3. The worst part was getting this to move, bloated, gassy, but once everything started moving it has continued without pain. I urinated without any issues right after surgery. I also use a bidet bottle and a blower dryer on the cool setting, which helps tremendously keeping everything dry. I hope this helps. Oh ice packs are also key after surgery. Happy healing!
