So little back ground I'm 34 healthy I think my hemorrhoids appeared around june last year found out when I had urge for bm I felt bit upset stomach and then my bm with blood in stool this freaked me out and I thought it was one time thing. Well as time went by bleeding was a lot or none or little it all depended on how many bm what I ate and stress. Had colonoscopy done he found 1 internal hemorrhoid grade 1. cause this hemorrhoid continued to bleed every bm I wanted to get rid of it so i opted for surgery. So May 7 surgery day felt good still numb felt like I had a ball or something right in my anus I think it was cause all the anesthesia. Left hospital without any advice on what to do beside how to take the medication and when to do the follow up. I should have asked questions and do some research instead I went in blind. so i got home read the discharge papers it said stool softner so I went to walgreens yes me after 3 hrs from being released from surgery yeah I'm not smart but I felt fine and my with is paranoid with this covid stuff so I went and got my stool softner I just but some generic Walgreens brand. took my medicine as instructed and stool softener oh I was prescribed hydrocodone and that ends day 0. Day 1 of recovery felt great little pain little spasms which was most pain. then the first bm I was scared and man I was right it was worst pain ever only thing kept me going with bm is the bidet I have man sprayed cold water knocked off some stool and keep myself from being to much in pain. this is when I changed to broth and rice only for my meals which sucked. but man sitz bath helped a lot. Day 2 this day was nightmare so during day one I was trying to feel around to get idea what hurt and how I'm going to clean myself well long story short I picked at something that might have undone my stitch. so after my second bm on day 2 blood I mean non stop blood was coming out I was bleeding out and had to release myself with each bm cause blood and blood clots was feeling me up call 911 and was rushed to ER well during that time I was given some pain meds and my stomach calmed down and not much blood was coming out. so they discharged me which pissed my wife off since they didnt do anything but in reality they couldn't unless the surgeon was there or I was knocking on deaths door. my hemoglobin was low but good. when I got home the med started to ware off and I had the urge for bm again nothing but blood and blood clots back to ER and this time my hemoglobin was really low but not enough for blood transfusions. So I admitted for over night and emergency surgery on day 3. Day 2-3 spent most night bm with blood until my surgery. after that I was discharged home. and resumed my daily routine meals broth and rice any bm sitz and routine medication. Day 4 in the early morning I started to get bad painful spasms ended prescribed percocet . besides that same meds bm sitz started marvel movie marathon. Day 5 - 7 spasms slowed down still painful. are same with less and less painful spasm. Day 8 no painful spasm and no spasms bm still hurt. stopped taking my hard meds and just took tylenol and advil. started to eat regular food. Day 9 still same as day 8 Day 10 back to ER ended up with perianal abscess which they popped and drain. was giving antibiotics. Day 11 follow up day I was told he removed 2 internal hemorrhoids. the perianal abscess has a superficial fistula that should heal up since the hole is from my internal hemorrhoidectomy but only time will tell. bm are only burning with slight pain. and only taking the antibiotics and tylenol when I'm about have bm. Well this is my hemorrhoidectomy still recovering if only the mucus will stop coming out I will be great.
