hello all, I had an emergency Hemorrhoidectomy after they prolapse and years of suffering (thrombosed was the decision maker). after 2 nightmarish weeks of suffering after the surgery, I am in week 3 and 1 day now. After seeing my doctor yesterday, he said I should follow my cravings and just eat (lots of protein), he said that poop needs to help my anus hole to stretch since we took a lot of skin off in the surgery. Dr also said he need to put a finger in next visit to see how easy it goes in, otherwise we will have to have an extremely painful surgery to open up my anus hole! anybody else living this nightmare? I have stopped all medication and all I use is a 5% lidocaine local pomade, also eat a lot healthy easy to digest food and liquids (keep my poop runny and stool soft). ps: I still have pain after every BM and need to ease the pain for hours by resting, sleeping or sitting uncomfortably but certainly cannot go back to work nor workout as my stomach and BM are unstable. this has been and continues to be a nightmare. let me what your experience is with this surgery, also any advice would help.. thanks and good luck.
